Glass cut to size, to the millimetre
Cut-to-size glass sounds simple, and it is, as long as it is measured properly and the edges are finished so they are safe to handle.
That is the part people get wrong with a cheap online order: the wrong grade, a sharp edge, or a pane 3mm out that does not fit. We cut it right.
What we cut
- Table and bench tops
- Glass shelves
- Toughened panels
- Mirror to size

Polished edges and safety options

Polished
Safe to handle
A raw-cut edge is sharp and chips easily. Finishing the edge is what makes a piece of glass safe to handle and nice to look at.
Edge finishes we offer
- Flat polished edge
- Pencil-round edge
- Bevelled edge
- Mitred edge
Tell us where the glass is going and we will recommend the edge and grade to suit.
When glass has to be toughened
If the glass goes somewhere AS 1288 calls for safety glass, a table the family uses, a low shelf, a panel near a door, we cut it then have it toughened, so it is both the right size and the right grade.

Bring your measurements, or we'll measure
Cut-to-size glass is only as good as the measurement, so there are two ways to do it, depending on how confident you are with a tape.
You bring the measurements
- Quickest and cheapest option
- Great for simple square cuts
- Bring the old piece if you have it
- We double-check before we cut
We come and measure
- Best for awkward shapes and templates
- No risk of a costly wrong cut
- We template curves and angles on site
- Recommended for anything fitted

How we cut it right, first time
Getting a clean, accurate, safe piece of glass comes down to a few steps done properly.
Confirm the size
We check the measurements with you, and the grade and thickness needed for where it is going.
Cut to the mm
The glass is cut precisely to size, square and true, from quality stock sheets.
Finish the edges
Edges are ground and polished to your chosen finish, so the glass is safe to handle.
Toughen if needed
Where the standard requires safety glass, the cut piece is toughened before it goes anywhere.
Ready to collect or fit
Most standard cuts are quick, and we can fit it for you if it is a window or panel.
Straight pricing per piece, and we will tell you the grade you actually need, not the dearest one.

Questions about glass cut to size
Can't see yours? Call us and we will give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.

Can I just bring my measurements in?
Absolutely. For simple square cuts, bring the measurements (or the old piece) and we will cut it to size. We always double-check before we cut so you do not pay for a wrong piece.
Can you cut toughened glass to size?
Yes. Toughened glass can't be cut after it is heat-treated, so we cut the float glass to your size first, then have it toughened. That way it is both the right size and the right safety grade.
Do you polish the edges?
Yes, and you should always finish a cut edge. A raw edge is sharp and chips easily. We offer flat polished, pencil-round, bevelled and mitred edges depending on the job.
Can you cut a glass table top?
We do plenty of them. We cut clear or low-iron glass to your table's shape with safe polished edges, and we can toughen it where it gets daily use.
How quickly can I get glass cut?
We carry stock sheets, so a lot of standard clear cuts are done quickly, sometimes while you wait. Toughened and specialty glass needs a few days for processing.
Will you come and measure?
Yes, especially for awkward shapes, curves or anything fitted. Templating on site removes the risk of a costly wrong cut, which is well worth it on a big or unusual piece.
